They are both attacking flair players. We have been playing some very good teams recently and we needed a certain kind of player. These two will play a big part when we're playing the likes of MK Dons and Bristol City and the onus is on us to break them down.

I reckon NW will have seen sufficient in Joe Newall's brief appearance yesterday to persuade him to use him more often. I would have preferred to see him in the side instead of Green. Once Newall appeared, we had someone who could control the ball, beat players and pressure the opposition. With Halford in front of the back four, we have the ingredients for an effective midfield with a choice of Frecks, Smallwood, G Ward and Newall.

I agree Glenn. Newell is leagues ahead of Green in my opinion. Newell has great ball control and creates chances.

He does and he is great but he doesnt go box to box and is not as good at picking his man up and plays a more advanced role and likes to run with the ball
