real shame about Halford's Red card cos that system was doing well, so, I'd pull smallwood into that role, and grant ward to replace smallwood's more forward role....
I think NW will stick with the same back five but with Kelly in for Richo. Kelly did well when he came on last night. NW is asking a lot of the forward players and we have a lot of players who can interchange there, so to me it makes sense to change them and keep them fresh as he has been. I wouldn't mind any combination of three from G Ward, Best, D Ward, JCH, Derbyshire or Thomas. In midfield for me Smallwood has to drop deeper in front of the back four with Frecks and Newell in front.

Thought Best & Thomas weren't in the game tues. Kelly, know we were playing best side in the championship but he needed Derbs to help him out. What's happening with Buxton? he's best right back we've got, though I haven't seen Doyley.

Derby very hit and miss at the moment, they could turn up today or they may not...perfect situation for us to take advantage. They will be over confident after playing us off the park at home. Only 3/10 wins recently, they are there for us to beat
But - Green..... with Newell and G Ward on the bench... hopefully he has a blinder and I'll put aside my fears about every time he plays... I've already made my views clear on other threads...
