on Radio Sheffield.

One of their fans says that today's referee should read the rules of the game.

So many of their fans simple can't understand football. They have such an entitlement attitude it causes such bitterness and disbelief that they can't see the wood for the trees.

As always the best team won. Simple really.

That very same fan, a 'Gail' lady fan, openly declared can't be offside from opposing player, correct but Hooper was offside when Jaos shot. He then interfered with play with the rebound. The stupid tv channel and Staton were banging on ages about the whole of the ball, when it was blatantly obvious that Turner was offside (just, but offside is offside), whether he touched the ball or not he still interefered with play being in front of Camp. You also notice no appeals when McGeady (why did they take him off?), turn Broadfoot inside out, the appeals all came after the shot.

I thought the ref did very very well, that Gail woman moaning about 'controlling the game' he did very well, she did have a point about consistency between refs, but that will never happen while human's carry out the task.

Total sour grapes, they're so up themselves they need a 'reason' other than themselves why they lost. The fact of the matter is, they couldn't score against us. 5 grand a week doesn't get you skill but it does by you heart, something odly 20 grand a week doesn't.

They don't think they should ever lose to little old us. Their sense of entitlement is amazing. I think that is why they are universally disliked. The truth is that we created the four clearest cut chances of the game. They had some pressure but actually created very little, ran out of ideas and resorted to begging for penalties and lumping it to the big useless unit up front. Classic bad losers - but that makes beating them (again) even sweeter.

And therein lies the reason most of us can't stand their fans, vimto headed idiots a lot of them. I thought we played well in that first half and Warnock got his tactics bang on with Halford in there in front of the defence. If we'd gone in at half time 2 or 3 up it would've been fair. They put a lot of pressure on in that second half, but credit to them all, they really dug in there.

As for the ref, i thought he was excellent in all his decisions, the pigs will say that i would say that, but i honestly thought he got all the decsions correct.

Thinking back MMM I can't think of any decisions the ref got wrong. He tried not to throw cards around and kept his head under pressure. A genuinely good display from him. Wednesday just weren't good enough. Their best player Bannan was too busy trying to show how skilful he was to actually be effective and they looked like they expected to just roll us over. I was in the Wenesday hospitality today and was proud to see the sea of red to my left. Glad to support a proper club not a massive, bitter one. They aren't that good. I doubt they are (as they seem to think they are) 'on the way back'.

Off the top of my head he got one wrong, when Nhuhu, got clattered by Halford (what a game he had by the way) and he gave us the free kick for Nhuhu backing in, middle of the park though. He got ALL the major decisions right and i thought gave a proper display of reffing.

My brother is a Wendy and he said we deserved it but the ref was biased. He is fairly level headed. To be honest I don't care. We got 3 points.

Agree with you in general Exeter, but look at Camp's appeal after the 'goal' goes in. He is defo appealing for a goal kick. And let's all be honest, if we had that decision at the NYS we would all be screaming for the referee's head. I watched the game on Kodi and thought we had the best of the ref's decisions, but he wasn't biased in the way a lot of them are when we are playing. I think the game highlighted the incredibly poor standard of refereeing in the game - after all, when was the last time a decision by an official wasn't the main talking point of a match? And that is a real shame because yesterday's performance was all about the Millers, we out played, out battled and out thought them. Our defence was awesome and Halford was superb - along with Wood..what a recall from a loan that's turning out to be! Camp seems to have been watching Manuel Neur videos because he has suddenly started playing like a sweeper keeper - Paddy Kenny influence maybe? Was he a keeper who charged off his line a lot?

Only downside for me is how to fit Newell into the team, I think we are a better side when he plays, but I will just have to trust in Neil.
