I haven't got any problem with our outcome compared to Cambridge. In essence you get no points from the game in question and the fine is based on ability to pay. That is fine. Where I think the FL need to rethink is the penalties from one offence to another. There are clubs exploiting loopholes in the fair play rules for example and getting away with it and that has a massive impact on the competition.
We were stripped of the points gained from the unfair advantage. They lost so they gained no points.
We are a championship club so got a 30k fine. They are a minnow in league 2 so a fine of 5k is relative and correct. If it was a premiership club I'd expect a fine of going on for a million in relative terms.
