Cant beleive this, and from his own fans, should be easy to pick out who it was as about only 20 fans at the bottom of the stand.

Disgraceful. Should lock him up and throw away the key.

At your own player, too? Incredible.

Yet The Steelers lost 4-2 at home tonight to Cardiff, their title rivals, both teams clapped off, ok disappointing but the crowd appreciative of the endeavour both have put in. Football is a digusting game, why I want to coach it I've no idea. It's like being a driving instructor, knowing they're gonna do what the hell they want when the pass and become terrible drivers

we all become part of the problem at times. That coin would have been far better put in the NHS.

As a youngster I travelled to watch Stoke v Rotherham many moons ago.

We were stood in the away end behind the goal.

Behind and above us sat hundreds of Stoke fans some of whom were hell bent on spitting down on us. They too threw the odd coin

over the top.

The sad thing is that some of the perpetrators were middle aged couples. Oh, how they laughed that afternoon.

I was stood next to you Andy. From what I remember it was pretty relentless. I bet they couldn't catch their breath.

Aye. One Stoke fan nearly lost his top dentures. Oh, how we laughed.

I believe it was around Christmas time at the old Victoria Ground? - a proper intimidating old school football ground, packed to the rafters - It think we lost 2-0 or 2-1? (One for Zippy). The spitting was absolutely disgusting

Remember that Stoke game very well Exeter....there had been a bit of bother in the 3-1 defeat on oprning day of the 1990-91 season as well, but this game in Dec 1992 was the turning point of our season really...at work so cant check the exact details, but from memory it was something like.....beat Stoke (leaders) and we cemented ourselves into 2nd place tucked in nicely behind them....unfortunately we lost 2-0 and our season slipped away from then on and we ended mid table while Stoke were champions.....big crowd there 20k+ and our ex physio Mark Stein scored at least one....couldve been both...of Stokes goals.....the trouble i remember for one reason...i looked back from the front of the away end where i was stood and amid the chaos there was an old lady hitting our fans with her umbrella....glad i didnt get on the wrong side of her
