It takes time oneaday. Three people to interview then the chosen candidate has to thrash out various issues eg transfer policy, housing, talking to family, wages etc etc. Lucky to get it sorted by the weekend.
Have to admit I'm getting concerned.
If Warnock wants the job we shouldn't be considering anyone else.
Please don't mess this up Millers Board and get Warnock appointed tomorrow.
Why do we need to interview the one manager who would give us a realistic chance of staying up?
I despair at the indecisiveness of the bloody Technical Committee.
Stop pratting about and appoint Neil Warnock until the end of the season.
The time to hold interviews is when we know what division we will be in next season.
Hardly rocket science is it?!
That package is small potatoes for Warnock. That is £25k a week even if he succeeds. Nowhere near what he will be used to at Palace and QPR I would bet. But he wont need the money anyway. If he comes to us he would be coming at least in part because he really wanted to help us out or the challenge gets his juices flowing.
Whatever it costs will pale into insignificance compared to the increased tv revenue next season if we stay in the Championship.
Appointing Warnock is no guarantee that we will stay up but you can bet he'll have a bloody good go at it!
Surely even the lumbering, indecisive Technical Committee can see this!
