Cant believe how many of you want to bin Greeny ok he's had a tricky time lately but I think hes just become the Miller boo boy , been a bloody good player for us still is a good player people say his legs have gone still gets up and down well to me , he gets a lot of suicide balls played to him especially from that useless right back , he is a rare breed at NYS he doesn't try and hide plays an unforgiving role in midfield like Smallwood they are having to work tremendously hard because we are s***e at back and our forwoods wouldn't score in a brothel, won't surprise me when Warnock sorry new manager picks his side Greeny will be in there

I agree.

He has contributed more than some give credit.

It can be improved but his style and positional play should not be underestimated.

Nothing against Green, but playing Green and Smallwood in the same midfield is uber negative.

Agree with all the above. A good player in League 1 and a struggler in the Championship he gives all the effort expected. Green and Smallwood in the same midfield is about as creative as me in a painting lesson.

You can never fault his effort. He is a great professional and has clearly looked after himself. I would never have a go at him. Every struggling teams has its targets for the boo boys and unfortunately Green is in the firing line this season because he has made some mistakes that have led directly to goals. In his prime he was a hard working all action midfield player. The problem is that when that is what your game is about and your legs go a bit you aren't left with anything to fall back on. He isn't ever going to sit in front of the back four and spray passes around. I have to say that when he gets the ball in tight areas in midfield there is always a sense that he might tread on it, turn into trouble or lose it. I don't like saying that, but it is the truth. If Smallwood is playing, then for me Green doesn't offer us anything extra. But if they pick him, he does his best.
