Not expecting us to do any permanent incoming business to be honest but hope I'm wrong.
The next loan window opens in about 10 days time and I expect we'll go fishing in that particular pond.
It's hard to see how all these loans are helping us to build for the future though and I thought that was one of the main reasons behind the appointment of Mr Redfearn!

another ten days to fetch in a player that will then take 2 weeks to get match fit, so 3 more matches gone I think we will have to deal with what we have he has brought in a lot of players so hopefully it is enough

Boro get Rhodes for an initial 9m and Wednesday sign McGeady who's a class player (ok on loan but still)

Just shows how utterly far removed we are from the top 8 of the Championship. In 10 years time that will be the top 16 then in 15yrs be PL2 and L1 & L2 will have that little money it'll become semi pro. Football is being destroyed in this country

If Boro do go up Rhodes won't get goals for them in the Premier League, but if his goals get them there it will be job done, and worth the investment. In my opinion McGeady is a bit of a show pony. I do agree with your general point though Ex - we are in the same division as these teams but not in the same league.

How depressing.

It's becoming more a feature how much TS underestimated this league. Only he knew what he had to spend and he should have had a good idea of what others were spending.

Even a hard nosed business man dreams dreams

His Dream is like one of those really great dreams you get woken early from and try as you might you can never reconnect with it.

It's all our dream of course.

Nothing will stop us dreaming
