I wonder how much that has cost us? 'Mutual agreement' can often be code for 'deal done'. Same with Aidy White perhaps, and we already know from the Oxford manager it is apparently the key to Maguire moving.

It's guaranteed that his agent wouldn't let him leave without agreeing a substantial settlement on his contract ... and to be fair why should he? He signed in good faith for a value that Rotherham put on him. However, what galls is the cost to our club of this folly. I remember a Chesterfield mate of mine finding it very amusing when we first signed him. Evans took an unproven youngster, paid a record fee for him and put immense pressure on the lad before even kicked a ball for us.
