Everyone loves a new striker but our greatest need is for a central midfielder. Someone who is comfortable on the ball, can pick a pass and keep us organised. All the good teams we play have someone to do that job. We have lacked that all season. This is not a criticism of Smallwood, Green or Frecklington but none of them is that sort of player.
