To me we played the best football last season and this (wouldn't take much topping this) when we've employed these two together up front. We did the same on Tuesday and they both scored and we turned in a dominant performance.
I think we need to go with these now for however Danny Ward can remain fit for. Danny has played his way back into the side with some top performances. He's got a turn of pace, football brain a great leap and chips in with goals. He works well with Derbyshire, whose goals come in streaks, so no reason not to start him now he's got that confidence boosting goal.
Unfortunately for JCH, that means a place on the bench for us for the time being, as he's not defensive-minded enough to play on the left of midfield. He owes us nothing after single-handedly carrying us for plenty of games this season, but after some patchy form I think some time on the bench to re-energise won't do him any harm as long as his attitude stays solid, which is down to Redfearn.
And hey, having JCH as a weapon to come on when the opposition are tiring is more than handy.
I look forward to home games now as feel we can give anyone a go. Just wish we could get a grip of away games.
