Yawn!!!!!Getting really boring now, we should either sign him now or pack him off. NR said last night that he's ready and fit to play so what's the issue?

 True.

He went off last time and played in south america, so presume it wouldnt take too long to get him fit. Its like hes an old man (like me) with multiple injuries.

If he aint right by now then it dont bode well.

I do like the guy however.

Ian, he played a total of wait for it .... 40 mins in Argentine before cancelling his own contract due to an ankle injury, stated he didnt feel he could take a wage off the club and not deliver !!

No news is good news. Would be a pointless signing like Kelly & Best. Championship football is miles away from kicking a ball around in a friendly in Argentina.

Look at Facey tonight who is the right age to come good. Needs games, been in the USA were millionares go to retire.

I think if we'd played yesterday's game 10 times we would have won it 8 times, just one of those days... reminded me of when we lost at Don Valley to Bradford, I think it was 0-2? and we dominated for most of the game.

BUT... players like Best and Becchio, if/when fit can make the difference in those sort of games, like when we had ALF... give them the chances and more often than not they have that extra bit of class to take them, and results come with that.

I'd like to know where we are with both Best and Becchio cos if they aren't going to play/sign, we need someone else in to compete with Derbyshire, JCH and Ward, who are all ok, but not the 15 goal a season player you need to compete in any league...

I remain a lot more optimistic than a few weeks back though... need to beat Charlton on 30th... UTM

According to Redfearns interview Becchio has passed a medical and signed, they are just waiting for international clearance to come through

If Becchio is fit or close (he will need 'match fitness') and he is on the right sort of deal with a heavy element of pay linked to appearances then I can't see how of can hurt us. The manager knows him and must have as good a chance as anyone of getting the best out of him. he can lead a line and his record says he knows where the net is.
