Never a footballer to have in a relegation scrap.

Shouldn't he be racking up ASBO'S  and mooching around Rotherham Interchange instead?

Why would a 21 year old man who is on the books of one of the best football clubs in Europe be getting ASBO's and hanging round a bus station? What is it about him that inspired that observation? Would you explain TTB because I find your post baffling.

He was awful against Leeds. He likes like a little nipper.

He won't keep us up. Would rather have Andy Barnsley at right back.

He is 21.  The standard in the US might not quite be the same as La Liga but it is not bad these days, and he has played a full season there.  He isn't the tallest but that doesn't stop people like Leighton Baines etc being top class.  I think the general consensus was that he did really well on debut at Preston, but now you want to write him off because of 45 minutes playing out of position at Leeds (shakes head).

He was something of a Little Boy Lost at Leeds though.Reminded me of John Swift with his lightweight frame and the ease he was knocked off the ball. He will improve but we need experienced professionals at the moment.

He nearly cost us points tonight. Made some bad decisions in the first half, trying fancy step overs etc and then looked weary and weak in the second half. Redders was right to sub him.

Some bad decisions? along with most players in every league, every game. FFS! lol biggrinbiggrin

Looked good in the first half. Only a young lad. knew himself he was under performing in the second. Right subs at right time, excellent management.

Can see him being a good player.

UTM!

Give the guy a break. I thought he did well first half and tired second. He was stretching out after about 60 mins. He gave the ball away a couple of times but there was nobody showing for him. Perhaps he should have just got rid but instinctively he wants to find a pass. It was a good substitution and Richardson did well when he came on.

Would rather stick with Facey as opposed to Buxton or Richardson.

I told you this kid was not the player for a relegation battle.

Awful again today. The kid's a  liability. The fact that he came from Man City is blinding our fans to his blatant shortcomings.

Good god, I find myself agreeing with TTB. Charltons number 19 had him on toast all the game & he was correctly identified as the weak link in our team.

He was ******* really crap. My apologies for the language but that was one seriously bad performance. I actually don't think he is anywhere near good enough for this level now.

He was the key player in so much that went wrong. Not just that but he couldn't even do the simply stuff. He was awful. Can't pass. Not that quick. A full second or two slower than others in reacting.can't head it. Gets wrong side. Gets stranded. Goes too far when he's got no cover. Hopeless . Am I being too harsh?

buxton and mattock are decent championship full backs, not amazing but decent and both should be 1st choice from the current players we have

The positional sense of a blind goat and the speed of an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping.

Well that's enough about me. What about Facey?

Charlton's first goal was down to Facey.
He threw the ball at a ridiculous height and pace to Green who, not surprisingly couldn't control it. The ball bounced off him to one of Charlton's players who was standing next to Facey.
The Charlton player set off running with the ball while Facey hesitated and then belatedly started chasing him on the outside.
Their player merely shrugged him off, cut inside and played the ball across goal for their centre forward to knock it in.
If Facey is a full back then I'm an astronaut!
