He had a court case pending before we signed him and has subsequently been found guilty of a particularly unpleasant crime.
What the hell were our much vaunted Technical Committee thinking about when they took him on in the first place?
The whole thing is rather distasteful. The towns reputation as a whole has been sullied by the recent scandals and I think to employ someone with a conviction of this nature would only rub salt in the wounds.
Having said that we did previously employ someone with form but who went on to become 'Mr Integrity', so who knows
