Not sure that will be the reason Gaz. He was bit part to start with because not match fit, but he started two of the last three games. More likely we have got him fit for Ipswich's benefit ahead of their Christmas fixture list. That's the risk with loanees. If they are bad you get to keep them. If good, the parent club nabs them back or someone else buys them.

Totally agree, we must learn our lessons... we need a core team that can compete WITHOUT the loan players and just use them to add one or two places and for injury cover. We just get Hyam fit, he has a good game against a decent team and surprise surprise, now we've done the hard work getting him fit and up to speed - he's recalled.
It's happened many times and we get to the point we rely on them, then they go and it leaves us weaker : Tavs, Hunt, Dicko etc etc... chairman needs to get his cheque book out to help the bit of momentum we have with 4 or 5 perm players, whether to keep us up or to compete in league 1 next year... frustrating....
