Could it have been any worse? From the third rate stewarding who were caught on the hop (I heard they were only expecting around half the fans that we actually took), to pre- ****scent teens in our end fighting amongst themselves to the actual game. Mr Redfearn, the excuses stop here!! The only player to come out of that debacle with any credit at all is Kirk Broadfoot, at times he seemed like the only one who gave a damn about the result. The rest of them should apologise to the magnificent Millers support tonight. The two worst players in our side actually played the full 93 minutes, namely Buxton & D Ward, both of them were truly dreadful. Funniest thing about tonight was our fans chant upon being goaded by the Town fans..... " you're nothing special, we lose every week" priceless!!! Seasons like this really test your mettle as a supporter. If you follow any team for 30/40+ years you are bound to get seasons like this, which is why you should cherish the good ones.
I've been following the Millers for more than 50 years and Breadth Miller completely agree, following your favourite football team is a fraught business and having had so much success in the past few seasons, we need to take this one on the chin. Having said that, relegation looks nailed on now and it'll be years before we are at this level again.
