I must admit to be slightly scared by it as well. And to a point the nonsense of it still does cause a little angst. Perhaps its a reminder of the confusion we all have felt from time to time when the world around us is a little scary and we seek some pattern to hold us in our temporal space. After all, we seem located in our Bodies yet peculiarly we seek to escape them throughout our entire life; Only to hang on to them for dear life in an ever whirling cacophony that the dervishes would be proud of.

What other nonsense are we subjected to...Take the Bolton plight or indeed any of 30.40.50 clubs all with huge debts...Huge! Not just running a loss but running on empty. Even Manchester United carry a current debt approaching 400 million. How on earth does this make any sense?

Its not fair, ethical or in the spirit of any sort of achievement one can care to imagine. Is it any different than taking g drugs one may wonder...and thats another nonsense story.

In fact Im so upset that we at The Millers Banter inner sanctum are lodging a protest at the greed, usury, and manipulation of top flight sport. Sky, and our other world wide sponsor's have threatened me with a huge fine and some Russian and Chinese betting syndicates have issues death threats but we at Millers Banter are undeterred...

so.., for one week only we will not be taking part in the Championship with its ridiculous wage demands and preposterous ticket prices...Instead, we shall all be going to watch that last bastion of naked competition...that is the Scottish lower leagues.
