Bad move from Swansea.

Deserved more time and maybe it won't get better with a new manager.

Agree Ian. A bad run of a few games is enough these days. A good manager becomes a bad one almost overnight. Despite a bad run they are a couple of wins from mid table. Poor decision.

For me it just sums up the Premiere League (and some Championship teams).  Greedy owners who stand for nothing less than constant success. The PL is pure and simply a cutthroat business environment where the manager, the players and the fans are secondary to the balance sheet and if they display any weakness they become collateral damage.

Give me RUFC any day where there's still a semblance of loyalty, integrity and belonging. Backed by a local owner who cares for the town, the club and the fans and underpins his investment with a sensible business plan.

Good luck to Gary Monk - he deserves better. Perhaps he'll find himself a job in Lancashire where the next managerial casualty is likely to be announced!

They flog his best player then dump him on his first bad run. Strange people.

Dead right Heman.  Short term panic reaction.  Monk always came across as a good man who deserved better treatment than this.  Bad job all round.
