Another club that chased the dream. The fans were all jumping for joy when they signed Okocha, Djorkaeff, Elmander, Campo and the rest. Those players have all taken the money with them to the departure lounge and the club is left in ruins. It's a shame but its hard to have too much sympathy. You reap what you sow.
I hope for the fans sake they dont come a cropper.
What on earth has been happening?
we have all looked at the amount owned to Davies and wondered how earth he is owed that much and more to the point how he can write it off. He aint a Billionaire .
Secondly, a consortium led by Holdsworth will barely scratch the surface of issues seemingly at Bolton.
Whether they escape this year or not they will be in a mess for a few years.
At least they had some great years-one of my very favourite teams when they were at their best. so entertaining and strong. wonderful to see them compete with the very biggest on their day.
However, im afraid it goes to show that even a club like Bolton cannot be self sustaining at the top.
A real shame for the fans as we know suffer the ineptitude of owners gambling in chase of the dream.
If Holdsworth's loans are their best option it looks terribly bleak, on the plus side we would only need 2 others to finish below us as Bolton will be as good as down assuming they survive. Its gotta happen one day, 1 big club ala Rangers will implode one day its inevitable
I thought that Ex, thats if it all goes pete tong for them though.
Sad for any club though, my heart goes out to all the BWFC fans, will they be handing buckets round at Old Trafford and Man City? like we had at Hillsborough and the Lane.
