I am essentially socialist leaning by nature. I agree with MMM that one of the clips you attached looks a lot like US propaganda of the kind they are so very good at. I don't think however that history will judge Chavez very kindly. He may well be one of a number of ostensibly socialist/Marxist leaders who fall into the category of initially well intentioned but ultimately badly tainted. His record on Human Rights, support for FARC, and failure to make the most of the economic gift of oil to effect real and permanent change for the citizens of Venezuela may be his lasting legacies. Like all politics though it is a very complicated story.
