Cannot fault the running around effort but so lacking in quality and aggression.
Need a striker for a start and have done all season..No chance of getting one.
Look at the money Wolves spend and they were pretty poor so we cannot compete by paying peanuts.
We are too nice and too soft...When their players were being substituted our players were shaking their hands and smiling at 2-1 down..we should have been focussed on aggression and winning not being nice.
Only the sub from Ipswich showed any quality at all and he won't let players push and shove him without giving some back..just the sort of player we need but it all seems too late to me and pretty dire.
Redfearn thinks we are going down..his mood, his speech, his body language tells me that.
Wolves came to a dump like Rotherham on an awful windy day and we let them enjoy it and kept shaking hands...I despair...There is more aggression on Millersmad than our players provide on the pitch!

It was very frustrating afternoon. A very average Wolves team came to bully us and they did all over the park. As Kempo says we are far too nice and far too accommodating of teams who come to the NYS and use every trick in the book to get the three points. It was obvious from the first minute that the inept officials were unlikely to put an end to their little shirt tugs, holds, fouls, pushes etc. They did a job on us and we had no answer.
They put the big centre back on JCH and he got nothing other than more frustrated as the game went on. Derbyshire did nothing to help out, his usual runs off the shoulder weren't there, his first touch has deserted him and he looks a player whose confidence is on the floor.
Of the defence, only Broadfoot comes out of this with any credit. Toffolo (not persuaded me since his arrival) was rooted to the spot for the first goal, Collins far too lightweight 'defending. a regulation far post corner the second. Roll on Kelly and Rawson coming back into the team.
Once they got in front all they had to do was defend the lead because they knew we had little to the hurt them and they were spot on. Best needs to be a big player for us when he comes back or I fear the worse.
Just watched the goals. Not only did jch look disinterested upfront it was his man he was marking that got the winner. Never went with him and left Collins with two players.
