Now I know its my fault for looking but I'm thoroughly sick of other clubs fans posting "but it's Rotherham" & "we shouldn't be losing to s***e like Rotherham" etc etc after we've beaten them. I sort of get it when it is said by fans of clubs with a bit of history...Wolves, Leeds, Blackburn, Boro etc but f***ing Bristol City. All they've done in their history apart from one brief excursion in the top division in the late 70's (before 70% of their fans were born) is bummed around in the bottom three divisions just as we have. Can't get over the arrogance of the carrot crunchers!!!
I agree. I always look at the opposition's forums after a win (so not too often...) and the attitude towards us is amazing. We are patronised by even the most worthless of clubs. Brizzle's fans were particularly pathetic - even reckoning that we were awful yesterday.
But perhaps this is one of our greatest weapons: if the opposition are going to patronise us and expect a walkover, then perhaps that makes them weaker. Part of our role at the moment is to put the arrogant big timers on their backsides.
I do the same. I think we should make sure our players read other team's forums pre match - it would get them fired up. Nobody ever gives us a chance and if we win it is because they think they were terrible. Long may it continue. I agree as well about Bristol City. What have they done to think they are can give it the big time Charlie routine? Poor away following bearing how massive they seem to think they are. Big match against a proper club Wolves next Saturday - looking forward to that.
I usually have a look to see their take on the match MMM because perhaps we see things through blinkers and its good to get a different perspective. It is a bit irritating to see clubs that we are competing with on merit thinking of us as small time easy pickings. It shows a lack of respect. To that extent, I do care (but not much).
