Phew!

Week 18 sees us change pace and return to some good old arm to arm combat.

To Blood some of our eager new recruits its time for a War.

I have divided the league between top and bottom half. As we have 15 regular players I have divided it 7-8 in favour of the bottom half. If we have any additional players I will initially even the numbers out but if it remains uneven I will give the more advanced weaponry to the underdogs.

All the soldiers in the winning Army will be awarded an extra 10 rashes of bacon.

Also, the soldier on each team who gets the most kills (total points) will be awarded an extra Victoria cross worth 10 points in the exchange and mart. The war will take place on saturday only.

Just seen that Charlton Ipswich kicked off at 12.30 and I put my predictions up 10 mins or so after kick off when it was 0-0. I didn't know that when I posted but if in the interests of fair play any points for me on that game were disallowed I would understand.

Luck is weird how it drops innit. That week I guessed what was it 5 scores and then got another 3 or so results - a tenner bet on that would have got rid of the mortgage. Conversely bad luck seems to find me easily, in an ever balancing universe I find it bizarre (or I'm in for a right run of good luck at some stage)
