You may remember I put 3 polls up to reflet a few comments about increasing the appeal of the league. 

The first one suggested inviting new members by giving them an average score for all games missed up to the present time.

The other poll was to see of new members would be interested. 

We had 12 responses but it was not unanimous.

My own feeling before was that it should he unanimous based on the effort and support thus far.

All of this suggests to me that we should keep it as it is as I would not want to diminish the effort of those individuals thus far. 

We have nez and Mr Kid and Smiler all started recently and I sincerely hope they continue, and anyone else who wishes to have a go please do. It's great to see everyone's progress and compare our fortunes to keep the competition fresh.

 Also, 30 games is still a long , long way to go and the bonus feature is an opportunity to put extra points on the board for all but especially any new comers.

I hope you all agree. It feels a little more democratic to ask the question as we did but also democratic to respect the votes that didn't want to change as well as the abstentions. 

I also want to say that this is not my league and I don't expect anymore of a say than anyone but in an administrative function I felt it right to respond to the asks and make a decision. it was a nice idea but on balance I hope you will all agree to carry on as was for this season. 

And may the best man/women or child win.
