As i have said before, cloughie believed in what Shankly said: Get a good GK,CB,CM & CF, i.e the spine of a team, and once these are in place you cant go wrong, everybody else tags on positionally. I believe we are way short in at least 3 of the 4 positions, GK is the only one at the moment i would have no issue with.
