my opinion for what its worth on the saga that is rotherham

We all Have to admit its not been a perfect start by a long shot, but do you think neil and tony wanted this No!

Do I think we would be in the same situation with evans i personally believe YES!  but we will never know

In regards Evans i neither liked him or disliked him I repected him for the success he brought us.  what i did do was criticise him like everyone else with the benefit of hindsight.

Was i sad to see him go i was shocked but onwards and upwards. But then he went to leeds and started with the comments my attitude became distaste then dislike the loathing now hatred.

Evans style of management worked in league 2 and league 1 he was lucky and I repeat lucky last season in that 3 other teams were far worse than us.

Tony has some part to blame in this, he should have got shut of evans at the end of last season. as the writing was on the wall there

in regards the three that left 2 were due to evans end of story and the other because he lost his mate when he left.

Evans then started the recruitment with rumours about tavernier etc

out of all the loans players who have played for him only rawson has come back on loan

smallwood and signed for us and ledesma camwe as no one else wanted him

the quality summer signings who HE SIGNED  has any shined none at all cept for newell mattock when fit ( thorpe can be good)

so he got camp on a free .

Evans then in my opinion allegedly manipulated the meeting by asking for more got no so left with his no relegation CV intact

evans was a motivator and tactically rubbish

Redfearn gets the job who i belive is taftically astute and a motivator

remember when he took over as leeds coach they was second from bottom.

what he have to remember also  is a lot of the quality signings are at the end of their career on 1 year contracts others were local and free and signed on one year

so redders has a team majority of which whose contracts end at the end of  the season

come january expect a lot of current gang going

collins halford ledesma rawson g ward

d ward need to prove

maguire needs to played upfront from the start

i find the evans camp jumping redders after 6 matches a bit hasty and un called for

Agree up to midway Hillsbrough.

points im not sure about:

I wouldn't say I hate Steve Evans but I am very disappointed in his comments since leaving. Then again a few ex girlfriends said far worse. Strangely and coincidentally enough rubbishing my performance most of the time-never complained while I was 'on the grass' however.

I don't agree Evans was tactically rubbish. You simply do not win as many games as he has.

Redfern is clever tactically but I'm not sure we have evidence he is a motivator .

The return of loans cannot be evidenced to Steve Evans. Money must play a massive part in this.

I might be being hasty on Redferns current record but it would be true of Redfern no matter who had been in charge previously.

Current facts are there. I hope and pray and want Redfern to turn it around. I am not bias (and im not sure many who enjoyed Se's tenure are) as such. I loved Se's reign because it was simply a great period second only to Ronnie's. I think that's fair enough.

I want to Believe in a Redfern who is astute and outfoxes the opposition and can build a very clever and sharp footballing team. Slick, fast, organised and disciplined with real togetherness and a fan response that brings us all together to eclipse the Steve Evans era.

Tony has some part to blame in this, he should have got shut of evans at the end of last season. as the writing was on the wall there. WHY WAS THE WRITING ON THE WALL?

in regards the three that left 2 were due to evans end of story and the other because he lost his mate when he left. INCORRECT. THEY WANTED PAYING MORE THAN WHAT THE CLUBS WAGE STRUCTURE WOULD ALLOW.

Evans then started the recruitment with rumours about tavernier etc HE TRIED TO SIGN HIM BUT THE CLUB WOULDN'T MEET HIS WAGE DEMANDS

out of all the loans players who have played for him only rawson has come back on loan AND?

smallwood and signed for us and ledesma camwe as no one else wanted him PROOF?

the quality summer signings who HE SIGNED  has any shined none at all cept for newell mattock when fit ( thorpe can be good) RAWSON? BUXTON IN 5TH PLACE ON MOM TABLE VOTED FOR BY PEOPLE ON HERE. GRANT WARD PLAYED OKAY PRIOR TO REDFEARN ARRIVING.

so he got camp on a free . EXCELLENT SIGNING

evans was a motivator and tactically rubbish IF EVANS IS TACTICALLY RUBBISH WHAT DOES THAT MAKE REDFEARN?

Redfearn gets the job who i belive is taftically astute and a motivator CERTAINLY NOT ON CURRENT SHOWING

i find the evans camp jumping redders after 6 matches a bit hasty and un called for ITS NOT A CASE OF BEING IN THE EVANS CAMP. ITS A CASE OF THE TEAM GOING BACKWARDS AT A TREMENDOUS RATE OF KNOTS UNDER REDFEARN. ITS ACTUALLY THE EVANS HATERS STICKING UP FOR REDFEARN

good response oneaday
I neither love or hate evans or redfearn. I think Evans did well for us but had some flaws what I have seen of redfearn he is useless as a football manager
