it is a good addition at this time, give the lad the ball and tell him to run with it. When he crosses, derbshire can still be in the centre circle or blaze it over the bar lol

Lol nice. He has got lightening quick feet, and he's super quick off the mark, going to stand out of our pedestrian poor excuse for attacking players. Hope he does the business we need that pace & outlet badly

Brandon Barker may be too good at this level. I feel we still need a player who can stick the ball into the back off the onion bag.

Apparently he enjoys the crowd chanting "Brandon Barker he scores when he wants." Looks a bit like Mesut Ozil.  Not sure about the black gloves at NYS though.  Type of player who can put bums on seats. Nice goal in the FA Youth Cup.

They're bottom of the Championship, so the only way is up. They don't score enough goals, they don't have any X-Factor players that the team is built around. He will surely play every game, which is what he needs at the moment. Hopefully they aren't so bad they can't even get him the ball, because at his best he isn't really the sort of players who needs his teammates to be doing much other than just getting him the ball and staying out of his way. Hopefully it all works out

Its a good story played through the years at Droylsdon with his dad as coach winning youth cups and leagues, before being snatched by an academy. At 7-12/13 they just want to play matches in real competition, academies take that club element away and they become performance related pressure pots of which 99.99% get discarded at a fairly hefty cost to the parent. It makes me puke how parents are drawn in at 8/9 years old and as much as they deny it their children become an investment opportunity.

I have only seen him on TV and not at Championship level, but he looks to me to be a lad with pace and ability. Whether he is up to the rigours of Championship football remains to be seen. At the minute though Redfearn is going to have to take his chances on this sort of loan and free agents in the short term to try and make a difference until January.
