I guess it really doesn't matter what we think because it seems apparent that Tony Stewart will give Redfearn more time.
I'm really struggling to see where there has been any improvement though and some of his signings have been woeful, Facey, Toffolo, Barker etc and that's before you get onto the sicknotes.
Maybe if he gets a couple of decent acquisitions in today and appoints a proven assistant manager things will start to pick up but Redfearn's lack of experience at Championship level is worrying.
I still think that Stuart Gray would have been a better appointment and would have had more chance of keeping us in the Championship
I'll be happy to be proved wrong though. UTM.

Now you bring it up again, I would have gone with Clough or Gray first.

Re the improvement; its obvious one cant point to results because they arent better and the performances have been hot and cold like before too. I think we deffo have a better overall shape however. If we are improving when does the tipping point come?

You know things can look a little uncertain results wise but sometimes the changes that are taking place just havent quite come together yet, or, sometimes there is just one more ingredient. Im trying not to be too metaphorical but this is how it definitely happens sometimes. I do think that this might be one of those occasions as Redferns personality is very similar.

Whole thing is a shambles at the moment!

Charlton, demoralised, fans up in arms, no win since November. Big defeats last two away games, club laying on free travel in an effort to appease their dwindling support. A win would have put seven points between us and them! What happens is we are witness to the most abysmal performance in recent memory.

Leaky defence that looks likely to concede every time opposition crosses the halfway line. A strike force, and I use the term loosely, that lacks any cutting edge and a midfield that appeared to crowd itself out. Shambles!

Post match interview from NR, asked about possible reinforcements. A centre back with a little pace? A striker that knows where the back of the net is? A full back to rescue Facey from his difficulties? No, apparently we need a midfield player? What?

I'm worried!

That's also a correct record and analysis.

With so many contradictory but valid points it makes you wonder what the truth is.

As they say in the media; it's a results game.

Still think Redfearn was the Caretaker Manager when he was first appointed to the job.
