Four points from next two games eh? I want a pint of whatever you've been drinking please! Currently can't see us getting four points between now and Christmas!
Axholme, that would technically mean we would be down, bar the shouting, really ????
we are only 3 points off the pack above, yes only 3 points, our energy must be to win these matches with the teams closer to us at the bottom, but would be nice to win at Derby.
The team isnt Redders team , and as such he has to work with what he has been given, until january at least.
Charlton have Boro away - mega tough that one - especially after last night. Bolton play Preston, so again another toughie on paper. with at least one or both to drop points. MK Dons have hull at Home, and Hull are flying at the Mo.
and Leeds may do us a favour tonight by beating Blackburn.
All ifs and buts, but it can be done, we will be in this division next year.

Don't get the reoccurring quotes about we are in the relegation places because this is Steve Evans team (I was never a big fan), when reders took over we had just won two on the bounce, confidence was high and we were out of the relegation places. Looking at last season we were very rarely in the bottom three. The other quote about 'we may need to go down to rebuild' what a load of bull, if we go down we will loose revenue especially with the Hugh championship payments coming in next season. It would take us years to get back, just ask the blades several managers and millions wasted trying. We still need to use the loan system whilst we can as per the Owls at the same time as letting our manager do his thing, but we can't afford to go down it would be a disaster. Low moral, lower crowds and harder to attract new players. We won't go into debt and can't afford the players some want yet so loans is the only way forward until we can build our own team.
Worcester Miller, my post was something of tongue in cheek as I believe that a couple of decent signings, albeit loans ,until the January window might just turn things around for us.There are rumours that we might see a couple in before too long, we shall have to wait and see. It's simply been so disappointing so far this season though and I think our squad is a lot weaker than this time last year and we only just managed to stave off relegation.
Every game in this Championship is difficult and I can't recall the last time I've turned up at a match and expected us to win! In leagues 1 and 2 I often had such expectations.
This weekend's game at Derby is a major concern for me as the thought of Collins and Broadfoot at the heart of our defence is scary. No pace and always likely to commit an horrendous error! I just hope that Thorpe starts at centre back to alleviate this, if only slightly. I was surprised that Wood has gone off on loan again given our defensive issues for this game.
We really must stay in touch until that transfer window opens and allows NR to bring in his own players.

Very astute post Fliker and it would be a disaster financially if we went down, I'm sure TS must think that too. Spot on

im in agreement.
I cant see any connection to steve evans and the current performances. Its Redders team if we play well and Evans team if we dont. If we stay up...if we go down...
no!
We all were able to make a fairly honest assessment of last and this season under SE and the fact is Redders has to get more out of them than SE did otherwise he has failed part 1.
Its as simple as that.
sure, he might improve the teams standing in the championship if...what!
we go down.
he stays a few years.
we get promoted
he performs well in the championship.
Its just wishful thinking. If he takes us down its a failure.
No other manager or pundits would be gracious to any manager who inherits a team that was doing ok-ish and had just won handsomely the last 2 games and then ends up being totally outplayed and gets relegated by some of the margins being predicted on the forum.
it just doesnt make sense fellow and loyal supporters.
