Derby and Boro away are not games that will determine our season so I'm all for trying stuff. Halford has done something that's why Evans, Black & Redfearn aren't even including him - he'll be moved on in January like I feel a few more will. Derbyshire's time is up for me, his sole purpose is to score or make something happen for someone else, the rate in which he does this is L1 at best. To say he's had pedigree, Forest, Olympiakos etc, its absolutely not good enough. A work ethic is a bare minimum for anyone so that cannot be his saving grace time after time, but even then Halford is no solution, only a loaner until season end will be. Yes I also adhere to midfield not creating enough, but lets be straight, most teams in this league will only create 3 or 4 top chances per game but they'll convert them - and that's the difference. We haven't the money or talent to be creating 10 top chances per game just so our strikers or midfielders will score enough goals.
