Fair comment, but I think it straddles the class divide now Kid. TMS like their Aggers, Blowers, and Tuffers but for the great unwashed Sky like their Kammy, Merse, Le Tiss etc. You can throw in Lawro, Chappers, Motty, Greeny and the rest. I thought you were actually being a miserable git at first Kid, but the more I think about this the more irritating it gets.
Yes some good points made and Smiler as ever points up some flaws in my logic. Exeter, can't you ban him?
Kid - what logic?
By the way, you will have to go some to be a more miserable git than I am. The moniker is definitely ironic.
You may be pleased to know Kid that I have earmarked some time this weekend to begin my post-apocalyptic shelter. Mrs Smiler is on board but she has certain standards (save where her choice of men is concerned), and it may be quite a structure once complete. I will be in touch for the protective clothing in due course.

Remember better too big than too small - although in my case the wife made an exception.
Another wonderfully evolving post. Maybe its just me.
Redders!
Redders!
Redders!
I was horrified. Aghast! and dumbfounded to think I might be using it to conform to some Milddle-upper class ideal.
Thank God smiler rescued me further down the thread.
I actually use it because I cant bear to call him Neil or Redfearn as they sound just too boring. Im trying to give the chap a little friendly spin and character as I think he desperately lacks both

You're forgiven, Ian. Nice to see an avatar celebrating our gymnastic triumphs.
True, Andy. I have to admit that in the misery of the moment my perspective was temporarily impaired as I looked about for a blood sacrifice to assuage the pain.
