the issue redders has got and he has recognised from his comment about the three games ,
The legacy of evans has come to roost and no matter what his disciples and himself say. we would be in deeper trouble if tony had not been brave to get shut sooner.
redders has now seen all the players and is going to change it my opinion on players
maguire up front in stead of the wing
green is too old it should be thorpe and smallwood now
Fair points. As far as I'm concerned Redfearn can't really be judged until he's had a chance to sort things out and get his own team playing his own way. Next season at least and a free pass this season: anything above 40 points job well done imo.
Redders is going to need 2 pre seasons to sort out the short termism joke the SE regime was, if we go down so be it, but we'll be stronger for it. A new team every 6 months has ripped the soul out of our football club, we got where we are at a very heavy unsustainable price
In my opinion, despite the stories surrounding Evans' departure, he didn't know what to do next and fled a sinking ship for someone else to rescue. There was never any real strategy in his game plan, appeared to be no plan 'B' and he rode his luck. You cant survive in the Championship on BS and bluster, I'm surprised he got as far as he did and flabbergasted he got the Leeds job, takes one to know one I suppose.
As for Redfearn, I have confidence in him, it may be too late to save us from the drop but I dont think it will be for want of trying. I think he has a good little nucleus with Camp,Thorpe, Smallwood, Newell, JCH etc and with some astute loan signings I think he could just do it

A very sensible post and not just because I happen to agree with it.

good post.
Like your idea of noticing a potential good core. Id add Mattock as good enough for good level championship football.

Phew! Thats quite a feat you pulled off there Mr Kid.
STEVE EVANS admits that leading out Leeds United for the first time at Elland Road this evening will represent the ‘pinnacle’ of his managerial career – surpassing play-off glory at Wembley with former club Rotherham United in May 2014.
never wanted the guy and he gone to a team whom if i had the money would buy their debt call it in and shut them down and wipe them out even melt the statue for scrap and turn it into a traveller site and copyright every version of leeds that be could used as new football club.
