I remember you were (are?) a vaper.  Any recommendations?  I've been using the TECC Titan CC which is a slimline and am thinking of a change.  I do prefer something not too bulky.

I too am a vaper, ridgeway.
I use a Kamry 1000 pipe.
However, it is quite bulky and may not be your cup of tea.

 Andy, you surprise me.  It's a lot bigger than the one I'm used to but might be worth a try.  3ml capacity is also impressive; mine's only 1.3ml.

It beats smoking the old tobacco, ridgeway.

I bought my Kamry brand new for £15.

Prices can vary though.

Thanks for the advice, smiler.

You could be correct about vaping.

It could very well be a killer.

However, I'm currently more worried about sugar content in food and drink than my Kamry K1000 pipe.

 I did stop but it sent me nuts so I started again.  The Chinese bloke who sells me the stuff assures me it is 100% safe.  Don't wish to alarm anyone but I'm starting a rumour that Exeter has run off with the donations.

Andy, I hadn't thought of a pipe but the wife uses one and swears Ice Menthol goes a treat with Special Brew.

Andy, I like the look of the Kamry pipe (Smiler's gloomy prognosis notwithstanding) and was about to order a Walnut one but saw a review that said there was a weakness with some spring or other on some pipes.  Had any problems?

Gotta be honest, i don't see the fascination with vaping, maybe as an aid to stop smoking tobacco, but further than that, why?

No problems at all with my Kamry K1000, ridgeway.

Mine has a rechargeable battery which is secured in the bowl.

There is a battery charger supplied with the kit plus two rechargeable batteries.

Yes, she's very talented that way.  She also knitted the Sherlock deerstalker I'm wearing.  Millmoor's point about vaping is one I often encounter.  But I enjoy it and that's really all there is to say.  After Smiler's doom and gloom I had a word with my GP.  She was very reassuring and said Vaping would have to act very quickly to kill me.  Good news, eh.

Ha. Nice. No was manic getting the work done before we came up north on Saturday, after visiting, Steelers last night and Centretainment this afternoon to watch The Martian, its all been very manic!

I use the Kanger Protank mini 3. Its slim (I dont like bulk either), I think its got a dual coil, and the tank is glass so gives great taste and an excellent hit. The tanks are small though requiring 2-3 fills a day (depending on use). Also noticed a new ecig shop open up in Swinton which is super convenient! - and the lady was lovely, hope it works out for her.

As for the Martian, the film didn't even touch the same level of the technical magnitude required for him to survive and neither did it capture Mark Watney's amazing personality in his mission logs, which made the book the masterpiece it is. As is often the case, because of the time constraints the movie was nowhere near as good as the book, and for people who haven't read it beforehand I wonder if they didn't feel that the story was very disjointed. Not that I didn't enjoy it, I did - but its made me want to go to Audible and download the audio book again!

Cheers, Ex, I'll have a look at the Kanger.  The glass tank is a definite plus.  There's so much bull about in vaping that personal recommendations are important.

I just use the bog standard Kanger 650mah, click on and off jobs, I think the coil will support higher power though, but you'd have to check. They only last for 2-3 weeks so make sure you grab a box of 5 replacement coils.

I am neither a vaper nor a smoker but ecigs are a great help for smokers wanting to quit.

Of course anti smoking legislation has been the most effective measure ever re stopping smoking.

Although long term effects are unknown, it is pretty certain that ecigs are pretty much safe...stated by public health to be 95 per cent safer than smoking so much less risk than a rasher of bacon!

Nicotine of course is addictive?

Cigarette manufacturers can now concentrate on this instead of making excuses for slaughtering smokers.

It's getting quite trendy and I quite like the style of it and there is no evidence that vapers move on to cigs.

Its a great addition in my view but the jury is out as to whether it should be actively promoted as a safe pastime...immediate thought is probably not but no evidence to back that up.

Carry on vaPing fellas...may give it a go myself.

 That's very reassuring from a medical man, K.  I have no interest in smoking tobacco but find the e-cig a very calming influence.  You can get e-liquids without nicotine if you so desire.  Oddly, I have never found nicotine to be addictive; it's the process of vaping that relaxes me.

 I have just seen it on Amazon in kit form with a Kanger 1100 battery.  650 would be fine for me though.  It's all at a very good price for the quality.  The b*stards at TECC tried to flog me a Joyetech eGo CC without mentioning it was discontinued and accessories no longer available.  And I'm a longstanding customer.  Grrrrr!  They apologised and said it was an update problem with their site.disbelief
