Good piece Paul. I like the sound of what I hear from NR and the confidence that TS has in him. If he was blooded against Gerry Gow at Millmoor, I'm sure he recognises the benefits of a midfield general who can dictate play. Hopefully this will be one of his first acquisitions although the threats of broken legs wouldn't be appreciated amongst today's powder puff officials!

So true Glenn, a different game back then and sad to see so many good players reduced to scratching a living when their playing days were through. The last I saw, Gow was stacking shelves for Tesco in Dorset, it may have been misfortune of his own making perhaps, he liked a good drink back then, but whatever the cir***stances still sad to see. Less than a generation later players of his calibre were starting to earn enough to see them set up almost for life.
