I thought he did alright last year in lets face it, a despicable environment. Ok he and the others who suffered under the psycho Italian all knew what they were letting themselves in for.

He does favour young athletic players which can only be good for us, as we're crying out for it. However he does need to be careful, the current group are good enough for this league, wholesale changes in January could be extremely destabilising. We need to give him time. It will take 2yrs to mould his own squad and undo the mess Evans left. Redders will tell us how it is technically, his press conferences will include little intricacies of what happened in the 90 minutes, showing his analytical intelligence and not vague sweeping statements how we battered a team for the last 60 minutes (but lost 3-0). It will be refreshing for us and the players that we'll get this level of expertise & that he'll 'coach' our players in the week and at least give them the respect to allow for their own judgement when crossing the white line.

I'm optimistic about this, I think it takes us to the next level internally and externally

I concur. Think Redfearn will give our players a boost with his analytical skills, and coaching methods. Don't think he will be making wholesale changes, will try and play the right players in the right positions and tweak as required.
