Manager to be named at weekend!

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but I've just heard it said on radio Sheffield that the club will reveal who their new manager is at the weekend.

I suppose that all betting will now be suspended.   wink

It's Redfearn, done deal, nailed on, organised weeks ago, all the rest is a smokescreen.

Would someone with the integrity of TS make such a wasteful and elaborate ruse just to employ one man.

I don't think NR is that big a coup to warrent such intrigue.

Surely they could just say we will appoint you neil if your up for it.

Am I being too simplistic lowthe?

I agree ian surely tony stewart would not waste time going through a mummery of interviewing other candidates when he had already decided on his choice. If had been decided two weeks ago then surely the timeline should have been Monday evans goes Tuesday press conference introducing redfearn to the press and he then is charge for the burnley match So i re itterate It may be redfearn is a strong candidate but I just cannot believe tony would waste his and other peoples time going through a pointless exercise

Perhaps TS just checking that he had got the right man and thought I'll just have a look at the others first.

Must be a strong temptation to put a wedge on at the bookies under these cir***stances?  Then again TS may have more integrity than me.

Sorry, but that is bull.  60 Applications + 2 official approaches for formal interview.  8 man shortlist, all interviewed, some held in London. Now down to 2.

exactly
why would tony waste time and effort interviewing all this week when if it was definately redfearn then surely
the timescale would have been

humpty gone monday
redfearn in tuesday and in charge for burnley

and the new guy would have had two weeks with the lads

on another note

the evans pr bandwagon gone quiet but some deluded disciples have quoted get this tony its not too late to get him back

Why would we want him back, he orchestrated his own demise, for his own reasons.

TS is the man, he has been in business a long time, he knows what he is doing, he will appoint and RUFC will move on.

Thanks for the memories SE.
