Redfearn is drifting out.  Dean Smith coming in like a rocket but BetVictor are taking quite a bit of money for Darren Ferguson.

On the basis of TS's stated (assumed?) aims of a more youth and community orientated approach there's only one man (if he'll leave Walsall for the Mighty Millers).  Get your bet on now.confuse

Walsall forum buzzing (well, sort of).  One bloke says he's had it from a Rotherham contact that DS is Millers' No.1 target.

As I've suggested before not a big fan.

For me he took too long to steady the ship albeit he seems to have done a decent long term job. WI'll be under much more pressure here.

Also, clough's record is much more impressive from a development perspective and he can deffo handle the pressure. Football style wise there doesn't seem to be much difference, so smith Aint going to be a favourite with the total football brigade.

Will the interviews take place at the NYS?

Probably not. I've been browsing down at the Club shop during the last few days.

I've seen no movement on the manager front.

However, I've now got a new scarf, woolly hat, Millers mug and a pair of socks.

I hope they hurry up choosing the new manager.

Running out of names now. Mark Shaw has done a decent job at Worksop Town. But would they too reject an approach? If we have to limit our search to those out of work, I still don't see anything wrong with Clough. Took Burton to the big time, did a solid job at Derby for a few years in the Championship before they had big money to throw around and turned the Blades around from rock bottom to play offs inside two years. Ex-international player and good pedigree. Intelligent man and a bit spiky with it. I haven't seen a convincing argument against him yet.

Andy, you could have saved yourself the effort.  I've had members of the Ridgeway Militia at strategic points throughout the town and will flash any developments on Banter as soon as possible.

It looks like we have missed out on Klopp as he is nailed on at 1/50 to take he poisoned chalice - sorry I mean hot seat - at Anfield. Despite me floating his name into the mix, Mark Shaw of Worksop Town is still not attracting any money. All of a sudden Neil Redfearn has gone from evens to 2/5 with Betfair and has shortened with other odds makers. Have your militia seen him with a tan-jacketed suitor at the Brentwood or perhaps in the Green Lane, Parkgate vicinity RK?

I forgot to mention one of my spotters hidden in Canklow Woods. He's got a clear view of any activity in and around NYS.
He can also lip read. Remember, ridgeway loose lips sinks ships.

A smiling Redfearn spotted causing a stampede to the bookies.  Too late; he's shot in to 2/5.
