Personally i'd much prefer him to the current favourites of Clough, Redfearn et al, he led Molde to consecutive titles, so knows how to build a winning team, he's a popular bloke, and he'd command respect purely through his carrer so far.
Cardiff can't be ignored though, it was failure of grand proportions - So much so Slade is looking worse for it
Well, yeh it can, he took that knowing it was a poisoned chalice and was probably hoping for a minor miracle, that's not a reflection on his talent, it's a reflection of his belief. What you cannot ignore is the fact he's won titles in Norway, not as high profile as English football granted, but winning titles in any league aint easy.
