wild outsider.

Not for me.

Didn't handle himself well at Cardiff.

Not enough experience at a strong level (championship or above).

injury blighted career that might mean he didnt get as much experience as one might think

Personally i'd much prefer him to the current favourites of Clough, Redfearn et al, he led Molde to consecutive titles, so knows how to build a winning team, he's a popular bloke, and he'd command respect purely through his carrer so far.

Cardiff can't be ignored though, it was failure of grand proportions - So much so Slade is looking worse for it

Cardiff wasn't that much of a failure. They were in the premier league at the time with a crackpot of an owner.

I'd take him before the likes of Redfearn, Gray, Clough etc

Coming to a kids park near you, can be found stalking the bushes 'looking for a dog he doesn't own'

Well, yeh it can, he took that knowing it was a poisoned chalice and was probably hoping for a minor miracle, that's not a reflection on his talent, it's a reflection of his belief. What you cannot ignore is the fact he's won titles in Norway, not as high profile as English football granted, but winning titles in any league aint easy.

Sign him up Tony!!!

Not a bad shout MMM. I think he is less of a risk than some others who seem to be in the running.

I would like him, better than some we would like, give him a chance. Man Utd, now there is a thought?
