I have to admit I wasn't his biggest fan when he played RB last year, but this guy won me round with his passion and commitment to the cause.

is big daft Kirk the man of the hour? He will run through a brick wall head first and shrug it off ( where Halford would worry about his top knot and his nails) .... last year Daft Kirk and Rawson were solid, could this be the CB partnership that will save us?

Kirk Broadfoot is an awful right back who tried his best when asked to play there out of position (not his fault), and an average centre back who lacks a yard of pace and has the odd mistake in him. He heads it and kicks it and is competitive. In my opinion he is a better option than Collins and Halford at centre back. I would have picked Wood in front of him but he's gone. Thorpe and Rawson are a bit too inexperienced to play together. So for me once he is match fit he plays. But he is not the answer to our prayers by a long chalk.

Hope so, Worcester, but Smiler has a keen eye for this sort of thing.
