Now we are in China, Red China no less, a communist state, that props up North Korea, and supported the VietCong back in the day, whose leader is:

But now we are all smiles and hand shakes, declaring that we are their bestist friend in the west, and signed multi billion£ deals to help us supply electricity, all this when the above is still taking place. Hypocrisy any one ? Have we as a country lost its sense of morality, have we sold our souls to the Cameron - Murdoch empire for '30pieces of silver'. What has happened to the British tradition of fair play fairness and justice. How can we deal with Russia for gas, China for electricity generation, these countries have been our enemies, throughout my lifetime, pointing nuclear missiles at each other. Surely as the 4th largest economy in the world (so we are told) we can afford to employ our own nuclear physicists and engineers to design and build the infrastructure we need. If these people are now our friends why do we need Trident? Has the world gone mad or am I going mad.................
Great post Towdlad and i agree with every word. Put that alongside selling our utilities to anyone with the money, it's a national disgrace to be honest.
