i think it will be decided after the cardiff match.
if we lose both those games without any improvement in performance. Evans will go to peterborough. and i do believe tony will have put feelers out for his replacement.
People always discuss things that all the evidence shows cannot happen..
Evans cannot go for talks as he is under contract and TS will refuse permission if asked.
Peterborough have already said that they will not pay compensation and I would be 100 per cent certain that there is a compensation clause in Evans' contract...This would leave the unlikely scenario that Evans would have to pay this himself.
TS has stated that Evans is going nowhere.
Steve is a proud man and very loyal to TS...He will likely walk away at some stage but would not want to do it now and be seen as deserting a sinking ship.
He is not in a hurry as he knows the Peterborough job will be his at the appropriate time but at present he is looking upwards and not down..his stated ambition is to manage in the Premiership or Celtic!
If Evans goes this time to Peterborough I will eat my red Nike shirt...It will not happen.
You can totally discount the bookies on this market as its just for advertising purposes and is totally illiquid ie a very small bet can dramatically change the odds

I think I will start the countdown to Brads Divorce party.
I know that a leading doctor from Leicestershire stuck a large wad on at 6/4. I myself took 3/1 and will be laughing all the way to the bank. The drinks are on Brad. I do fear for Brin on another Millers' site who will now have to find another rrse to shove his head up.
For goodness sake let's have a statement from either Evans or Tony Stewart and put an end to the speculation. Why the hell does it have to drag on for so long.
The Twitter feed has a pretty full interview with Evans about Charlton. Not a mention of Peterborough. That said, the preview piece on the site itself this week is with Raynor.
For goodness sake let's have a statement from either Evans or Tony Stewart and put an end to the speculation. Why the hell does it have to drag on for so long.
Agree with that, suggests to me that either:
1) Peterborough have made an official approach, SE on his way out, but nowt will be said until after either Sat or Tuesday game as to do so will worry / de-focus the players, OR
2) A statement will be made before Charlton game to dismiss rumours and boost motivation.
I can't see logic in saying nothing as it is making everyone nervous and must be detrimental to players performance, so if we don't get '2' we must instead be going to get '1'
3) Variation on '1' is that TS has said if we don't win either game you can go talk to Posh (saves me sacking you mate), so variation on '1', same outcome.
Can't possibly be still quiet on the matter after Tuesday game, definite outcome and matter settled after Tuesday game latest.
Significant changes in betting. Evans out from 4/9 to 4/7 and Graham Westley shortened to 4/1. Anyone certain SE is not leaving could make some money here perhaps?
Have you read the denial? The question is "take it you're not after Evans?". The answer is "absolutely not". So, point out grammar pedants, it's a double negative: he's not not after Evans, so he is!
