if we go down we go down (not over till the fat lady sings) i hope we have some stability .Mr Stewart has the £ sorted and we have a stadium to die for. onward up ward in a stable environment. UTM
I've got no shakes about Evans staying long term, while ever he's sending a team out that give its all, play to its strengths and serves up what's required in the Championship or L1. I've got no bones with losing, as long as you come away thinking the lads have right put it in. Its when they don't put it in, don't want to and the manager seems to know naff all about getting them to that's concerning.
Quite a lot of teams have better stadiums than we have. (Bolton, Huddersfield, MK Dons, Wolves and dare I mention Barnsley if they were to use their corners)
I'm more concerned about playing our players in their true positions AND seeing them put in a full shift. Nothing less for me.
I cannot now possibly see us avoid relegation if only by lack of true effort and 'love'
UTM
by the way Exeter Miller, I am the tivolliman who you kindly castigated when I couldn't get onto our sites. We must try to find some way of allowing this to happen. On mm site we could go into the 'complaint' page.

If you measure success by promotions gained and maybe by keeping a team up against the odds then he has been successful. No doubt about it. However any manager who makes too many bad signings, sets his team up wrong, can't get his players to put the required effort in, plays players out of position and gets his team playing dire football is in trouble these days no matter what 'success' he might have had previously. Is Steve in that position? You all have to make your own minds up. For me, his past results alone get him more time than others might get. Here for years to come no matter what? Hmmm. We shall see. Good luck to him.

yeah thanks, I'll be changing the banner shortly which will have an email address on it for such issues including complaints - feedback is always welcome on here on how we can make it better

Well someone on another site said he'd jacked on here because of the "cobwebs". Please remember E that cleanliness is next to Godliness.
I think Steve, Tony and RUFC are well suited. If (and it is still a big IF) we go down then I would like to see Steve Evan's at the helm to bring us back up stronger. Remember we are punching well above our weight and can't compete on financial terms. So we will always be everyone's favourites to finish bottom anything above that is largely down to the skill of the manager in getting the best of the resources he has to hand and Steve is proving very effective at doing that job.

Agreed. Sometimes the truth cannot be spoken. A cold accountant's judgement to TS might be that L1 is a better proposition than the Championship. But such cannot be sold to the fan. It's just as governments keep secrets to save the people from having to confront reality.
