Welcome, Lenthemiller.

I'm sure he's invested enough of his hard earned.

I think it's going into wage demands instead of transfer fees.

He's spent little (I think there was a modest undisclosed fee for Newell) on transfer fees but our wages commitment will have gone up plus probably some signing on fees for free agents and perhaps some loan fees.

Perhaps the club has reached it's credit limit.

We have money in the bank, but its ok a team accepting a bid, its another agreeing personal terms with a player e.g. wages

I think the signing of players is dictated by one of two options :

1,Sign a free transfer, this allows us to pay out a competitive, short term wage (12 months) so the guy will come to RUFC, hence the recent "journeymen" signings.

2, Pay a transfer fee, which comes with a lower wage, hence the "young and hungry" signings.

I think combining the two (which is what most fans may want?), a fee and a competitive wage, does not seem to be in the business plan at the moment?
