Yeah we do need 1 or 2, but for the most part we have the players, throwing the revolving door open is not the solution anymore, but is seemingly the only idea that management duo have. It was grit & determination that gave us just enough to finish above a woeful in turmoil bottom 3 last season, and it was job done. Unfortunately those players that provided that, have gone and not been replaced with similar ilk, therefore we don't even have that anymore. If the management have learned anything from last season they are clearly not applying it. I have no doubt when Broadfoot comes back, if he's as good as the tail end of last season with Rawson that solves the CB situation, but Wood (who did great the 2 only appearances I saw him last season) to cover. Halford and Collins should not step foot onto our teamsheet ever again. Mattocks injuries aren't helping but that was a warning we ignored, but a backline of Mattock, Rawson, Broadfoot and Buxton should be enough for this league. Collin is steady but as we saw with Martinez there are better loan options out there, but even so he should be enough behind that defence. We have an abundance of ball carriers in midfield and Smallwood and Thorpe ball winners, JCH knows where the goal is if given the right supply. We have the tools, I'm sure Tony will have given the management the resources with the intent of staying in this league. I'm more than sure he and the board will not be amused at what has been served up thus far. I hope SE & PR do some soul searching as if they don't and think that throwing players at a wrong coaching system, no work ethic, no plan b, and bizarre team selections is the answer then they will have lost my confidence in their ability to keep this club in this league.
I think they should be afforded the time to have the opportunity to use all their tools (as in the defence above), during which time do what we all know is necessary to get us playing collectively and to our strengths, but if we're approaching Christmas and we're getting Saturday, MK and Preston served up more than not the gates will plummet and that's how the board will respond

Its a fair point you make there Exeter however, I fear our illustrious leader, his glove puppet and the Grim Reaper Black dont have sufficiant nous between em to make the change. That and the fact that SE is a reet stuborn B'stard and wont change cause as can be seen from his post match interviews, he's always right, its always someone elses fault
