Talk of a must win this early doesnt feel premature. After failing to beat MK Dons and Preson and with the other 3 weak teams getting good results against good teams we are already playing catch up. It will also be 2 horrible weeks to dwell on the poor start due to the international break.
How will we fare and how down will you be if we dont win?
Pringle will get an applause from me. Whilst i was never a fan of his attitude and clearly had an issue with not being the 'star performer' in our Championship team, he was a big contributor to where we are today and for that he earns my respect.
Won't applaud Pringle, I would Arnie. Fulham game SE as at last seen the light with Collin & JCH. Rawson sat' in place of Halford. If Mattock is out will have to play Newell, play D. Ward on the left. G. Ward on the right, Smallwood back, if we don't get nobody in play Thorpe central midfield. Derbyshire & JCH up front. Think there might be a central midfielder in.
Why would anyone in our crowd applaud Ben Pringle.
I mean, what's he ever done for this football club, apart from play a key role in back to back promotions, help keep us in the championship, score against the pigs two years running, score some spectacular goals and be one of the best crossers of a ball that we've ever had ?
Pringle is not favoured and probably won't start. My heart says win, head as in the Prediction League says draw. If you didn't know better and watched Barnsley last night and watched us, you'd say they were the CH team us the L1 team. Evans and Raynor have confessed many times they are the 'attacking coaches'. Well until they learn to teach their players to work triangles and pockets of space like Barnsley did brilliantly last night (and against a PL team remember), we are going to suffer.
Fulham will be intricate, not bust a gut but just keep probing us until we make a mistake, get tired or both. I hope Rawson is fit, Collins is utter bab, he makes Broadfoot look like John Terry. Halford isn't far behind and really concerned by his apparent lack of 'captain credentials'. We have pace out wide which is great, but Smallwood is off it, time for Thorpe to show what he can do, but we need a dictator in the middle, not a Frecks who's game is arriving late and getting 20 yarders in, or a G Ward who needs the dictator type insurance policy so he can bomb forward (Tottenham fans have said what a talent he is - no doubt with the right players around him and not L1 requests by management). It's good to see JCH keep improving, but I'm sorry I'm not in the Derbyshire love in camp, we need a lump up top where the ball can stick, Derbyshire is not this neither is be a creator, neither can he score in a month of Sundays from often the easiest of opportunities. I would try Maguire, he's not the lump but he's a creator and his corner delivery is on the nail. I'm not even going into the GK dept, Roos should never wear our shirt again.
Ex, I agree Pringle wont start, but i will applaud him, no issues there.
But my angst is that we have to win and win Saturday no fail, we are getting better,
I agree Collins is a bit pedestrian, and i would like Woods to have a run out in the team, he wont have a look in after Broadfoot comes back,
So please Mr Evans, pick the best attacking side you can, use the width a la pringle and agard style when we were in Lg1 and get 2 quick goals, their heads will go down and we might be out of the bottom 3 come Saturday evening.
We need a win today that is a must.
Pringle is now an opponent and gets the respect all of them do and no more.
PLEASE CAN WE START TO LEARN about counter attacks. How many goals and games are we gonna lose by having a 'donkey' watch the backline?
We have to get three points please.
