OMFGG guys, you actually LIKE this durge we're paying to watch? TBH the club should have paid us to watch the PNE game!!
To answer ian's point...........WIDTH! Get the ball to the flanks, actually play Ledesma on the right & Newell on the left, give Bowery a few games to get on the end of said crosses, with Derbyshire feeding off the scraps, with JCH as back up.............oh before I forget.....LEARN HOW TO DEFEND & GET COLLIN BACK IN GOAL!!!!

How many more "unlucky" defeats will it take to end the love in with the fat controller??????

The ball went wide many times last year but to actually get behind a defense is no mean feat. As Ex said, we play many a diagonal ball which brings some success and of course we saw some good examples of the deeper penetration last season and on saturday with JCH.

The issue with MK dons was a static 5 man midfield not shortage of width. We just didnt support the attack and MK dons just created the space to drop a ball in and combined with Roo's the rest is history.

When we have had mattock, newall and white wide left it has not always stretched the play to our advantage and Ledesma spent much of his loan period on the right without actually being effective there.

Im glad your plan is to get Derbyshire feeding off scraps, which if I am not mistaken is all you will create with the 2 wide man policy and it doesnt sound like the skillful and possession based attacking football we all would love to see.

The thing is Brad, you don't like him, we get your subtle hints, that's fine, but you're one of those who believes that if you say something often enough it'll come true, and you can then say "i told you so"

Football's a funny old world though, and your predictions have so far been way off the mark, maybe you'll get one right, maybe, but you really cannot argue with the recent success we've had, much of which was on the back of SE. Let's get one thing straight, i didn't want him here either, but he's won me over on his rollercoaster, and you know what, even IF we do struggle this season, i'll still support him and the team, because that's the least they deserve.

You did that and I've thought for a while too JFH, if not us it'll be Huddersfield or Blackburn - someone in the lower end of the championship.

Brad, Just watching Arsenal v liverpool Wenger screaming for his team to play the long ball out of defense.

No bull****.

Also, I notice the amount of mistakes the defense is making-thankfully they have cech.

As for Width its not working at present despite the natural wide men and immense skill.

seriously, not being rude, but just making the observation it is a complex game these days and rarely do 2 sides just open up on each other.

No subtle hints mate, I seriously dislike our manager & I'm not afraid to say it. Anyone with half a brain cell would have got us promoted out of League 2 AND 1 with the sort of budget we had & don't forget, apart from a 10 minute purple patch just after half time at Wembley when Revs goals went in, we were decidedly second best that day, we just got very, very lucky!!

We stayed up last season partly because of the plethora of loan signings AND the pathetic form of the three clubs that actually went down, again we got lucky. This season, Evans' luck WILL finally run out!

IMO the reason the match officials don't give us important decisions is because of Evans & the fact that he is almost universally dispised throughout football. He is also the reason we can't attract the quality of player we need to compete in the Championship (well that and budgetary restraints). Not a coincidence that players that he's discarded can't think of a good word to say about him.

SORRY if my rant has upset some of the optimists, but I'm a realist & still hope I'm wrong, if I am eating a bit more humble pie won't kill me, remember, it's all about opinions!!!
