Plan Of Attack

So what do we think will be the plan of attack tomorrow. Id like to see Clarke Harris up along side Derbyshire, a young pair of legs to do the work for his footballing brain

Agree with Clarke-Harris. What's happening with Rawson? Collin would be in goal, same defence as tues. I'd bring Thorpe in for Frecks, Clarke-Harris for Bowery.

Id go with Thorpe (and Rawson if available) but not Collin, he's as bad a Roo's but nailed to his line and kicks more. Also think young Ward from Spurs should be played not dropped forever a la Swift.

If everyone is fit, and accepting that this will never happen, I'd like to see:

Buxton, Thorpe, Rawson, Mattock
Smallwood, Halford
Newell, Maguire
Derbyshire, JCH

Likely replacements:
D.Ward/Bowery, Frecklington,/White, Richardson.

The GK's a real problem. I'd probably stick with Roos if what SE says about Collin in training is correct. However, if Jim Funnell's fit, I'd take him!

Id be happy with that side so long as the midfield arnt watchin the ball sail over their heads all game

Glen, can't see that realistically happening. If we adopt that formation at QPR it's game over.

OK. So after all the flack that has been thrown around since the Preston performance, what advice would you all offer to SE regarding his team selection and tactics for QPR? The trouble with parking the bus is that our bus parks about 20 yards from our own goal and there's no respite. I'd personally like to see us play further up the field and defend by attacking. BTW, this red wine that Tesco have on offer at the moment is cracking!!

There is no bus big enough 😃

Choose our battles, this one will not decide whether we stay up, use it as an opportunity to have a go, lets make some chances and get some goals. Like Wolves a couple of years back, who cares if we lose 6-4 - lets go for it without fear and just see what we can do

The central defence I'm still v unclear about.

Maguire I like but still seems unfit.

God dammit I still like green in there and halford type I still struggle with but hopeful.

I'd keep roos because Collin is not up to it either.

Keep Mattock and Buxton.

Stick with Collins and rawson.

Halford

Newall green smallwood maguire

Derbyshire.

Pleased to see Evans gone for it and why not. G Ward, Ledesma JCH and Derbyshire, lets just attack - we're gonna concede so lets just try and get some goals
