Maybe an idea to get back to the original question me thinks?

Three reasons some players turn us down : Wages, Wages and ermmm, Wages.

Three reasons players come : Cracking ground, the best pitch in the league and the chance to play in arguably, the 5th best league in Europe.

Agree 99%

There will be some who are offered very close deals to whats on offer elsewhere and personal cir***stances will be part of the decision under those cir***stances, but even then its going to be where the family are etc.

Since we cant compete with any championship club you have to think think something about that. I mean, its a fact, right!

so, why do we get turned down!  Q.E.D.

Saying that it was ill considered in your opinion is at least a better way of saying things than suggesting it was disgusting.

I do not agree with your opinion but hope that I stay polite when saying so.

Your apology is accepted.

I hope that you do a better job than SYP in rooting out child sexual abuse problems because their efforts have been disgraceful.

All the best.

Rotherham isnt an attractive place to live thats a fact, but players can live within 45 minutes drive in some decent areas and easily drive to town.

I live a few doors away from a Sheffield Wednesday player, so far he hasnt sussed its me letting his tyres down

I'm ashamed to say I use to enjoy letting tyres down as a nipper with an old matchstick, but I would never even think of it now-I'd use something very sharp.

Think about all the tyres and cars and house breaking in Liverpool and surrounding area, not to mention Manchester. I'm surprised anyone signs for man u or Liverpool. Must be some other draw.

Not to mention the area around the City Ground after dark.
