This was a nice site and Exeter is a first rate operator and mod.  He deserves success.  Andy, Ian, Sickly, Towdlad etc are great posters and I enjoyed their company.  Kempo has been fine but now the old Ritson gang are coming to join him it will very soon be the Kempo of old.  The witterings of IBS and the Kempo-Zilzal-IBS bullshine axis are more than I can bear.  The barbarians of the Mad Hispaniola are no longer at the gates but in the compound.  Cheers but that's me gone.

This is premature Ridge, you have been a valuable contributor and clearly not a big fan of the doctor. But at least wait until a crime has been committed.

I actually agree that he has been a good contributor to this site.

It's that he could not resist an opportunity to give the pot a stir.

Come back ridgeway or at least give us a great valedictory speech.

We (the original crew) at Millers Banter recently got together and we send this to you Ridge with hope in our hearts. Please dont go!

 

Ill leave you in Andys capable and loving hands. (P.S.) Im the guy in the front row with the missus and you can see Ex 3 rows back. Ill let you guess who the others are but Towd lad and cadger should be easy to spot.

Hey, come on Ridgeway, there's no need to leave the site my friend, we're all mates on here.

 

If there are any bad-uns from the dark side on here we'll flush 'em out and send them packing.

 

This site is like Royston Vasey, it's a local site, for local people. We'll have no trouble here.

Haven't been anywhere, Andy. As the consensus on here seemed to be that my frequent postings were proof of narcissism or insanity I decided to give it a rest. As you would say, "very curious".

Ridgeway is such a great character. This site wouldn't be the same without his insight and breadth of knowledge.

 Very kind of you to say, Andy.  Kempo is just joshing btw; if I didn't exist he's have to invent me and I'm not sure even his genius could handle yet another ID.  He already sometimes forgets he's met himself at matches, drunk champagne with himself and shared taxis with himself.  I blame laptops and internet cafes.

I have often met myself coming back from football matches. However, I think I know where you're coming from. smile
